Distracted and pointless entry. Really...

Supposedly, I am due to do my “In the Wild” of Wordsworth and Malouf comparative study, like noted in my diary. But once again, I am distracted and am not motivated to even gather the shelf of Malouf and Wordsworth’s notes (hint the sarcasm). I have a hinge that this blog entry will be pointless because I have not planned nor thought of what I am going to talk/rant about. Yes I know, as the entry specified below. I previewed what I was going to talk about for my next upcoming entry ( which I believe it is this one). But because I have not completed absorbing the book, I don’t think I would rant about that particular theme just yet. Perhaps in the next entry, because there is a higher chance that I will complete reading it, since in 2 hours or so, I will be on the train heading to the city to meet up with my beloved cousins and have a fabulous sleepover/ meal at pancakes at the rocks :D and in that mean time on the train, I would be reading. Woo.

Okay so if this entry is going to be pointless… Then why do I even bother creating an entry at the start? Well let’s say, I rather blog than start on my Malouf/Wordsworth essay. Eventhough, if I get a move on with the extremely bland essay, I know it will do me good in the near future. But seriously, because of my procrastinating bad habit. I just can’t and won’t do it.

Okay this is not going anywhere. Might as well clean up the house before i leave or something. Tv will be a great idea also.

Past few days (yes a bland title)
This entry was written on the 21st of April. But because i had to go for dinner i was unable to completly post it up. But here it is now.

I will make an extremely quick entry as I have to run for Dinner.

Yes, I was right. As I thought, I had not made another entry until the next days or so as I had said in my previous entry. Anywho, because I had been absent from this blog for 3 days. I am able to rant on what I did, though very briefly because yes yes, My family cannot wait therefore means that the 4wd family car cannot wait therefore the restaurant cannot wait therefore the food cannot wait and lastly, resulting me to having no dinner. Which is quite ill-fated.

So on Saturday  [190408] I  :

  • Went with Jessica to Whetrill park by bus
  • Bought a crime fiction book ( FINALLY)
  • Bought a mate's present
  • Bought Reflex 500 pack A4 paper ( yes, I had to add that in because that shit alone had caused me great muscle pain. I think I need to go to a massage therapist)
  • Bussed it To Fairfield
  • Bought a French Kitty Cardi
  • Got back home around 4 ish and started reading
  • By 530 Samina came over.
  • Called Jessica out of her house and Samina, Jessica and I trained it to Livo to Ana's place
  • Ordered Pizza from Livo and met Andrew
  • Stayed at Ana's place for two hours
  • Went back to Pizza Hut so Jessica can salut goodbye
  • Got back on the train and trained it back to Cabra by 9
  • Walk Samina home
  • Walk Jessica and I home

Sunday [200408] I:

  • Went to Cab station at met up with Bel, Shane, Frenchie David, Janna and Fui
  • Missed our train because a violet little kid kept on punching the boy's balls. He succeeded
  • Got onto the train 20 minutes later
  • Took the courage and actually distributed my Society and Culture Survey on the train. At first I had 4 rejections, but I managed to collect 5 back. Go me
  • Got off at Central and met up with Evan, Susan, Virginia and Susan
  • Walked to Wagamama and ate. Didn't like the food.  David C. and Annie met up with us
  • Walked to Phoenix and had K for two hours
  • Evan, Chen, Virginia and Ching left.
  • So the rest of us had Y2K ice cream for Dessert afterwards
  • Got my repaired Bracelet back
  • Trained home

And Today… I had to get up at 820 (thanks to Shane's wake up call , I was able to get up) to bus it to Bonny for Math Tutor. Got back home around 12 after Maccas and I drop dead onto my bed for four sweet hours, despite being woken up with battery low home phone that kept on beeping. :@

I remembered there was one day that I was supposed to rant on something. But I totally forgotten about it. But on a complete different topic.  I have started on my workload which is so heavy that a bull dozer may need to lift it up.

Currently, I love the Crime Fiction book: The Surgeon by Tess (something, I can't spell and don't remember how to spell her surname. Will get back to you on that). After I finish reading it, be prepared and prompt because I will be ranting about it! Typically, Crime Fiction isn't my cup of tea (how cliché of me) but, this is one a hell of an awesome book and I just love it so far. I must admit, I have had temptations to skip over a few chapters so I can discover who the murderer is but I need to test my patience. .

And the surveys that I given out to complete strangers. I feel so Hero. LOL. >_>'.

P.S. don't think i will be updating  once again in the few  upcoming days because i am determine to get most of my  school work done before the new term commence. Though,  a little reminder to myself and a little sneak peak on what i will be talking about in the next entry and that is rape and journals. Stay  tune.

Clara is the next Chuck Norris :L.

Omg, i just have to rant about this right this second because if i don't blog now, i know my next entry wouldn't be updated until the next  few days or so.

Anywho, Chuck Norris. Who is he really? I've seen allusions and references to this highly portrayed god-like man. But after, a little search on beloved Wikipedia and a mini explanation from Shane on who Chuck is.  I found out who Norris is :

Chuck Norris
(born Carlos Ray Norris Jr. on March 10, 1940 in Ryan, Oklahoma) is an American martial artist, action star, and Hollywood actor who is known for action roles like Cordell "Cord" Walker on Walker, Texas Ranger, his training with Bruce Lee and for his ironically tough image. [ From Wikipedia]

Alrighto, let's conclude this. Chuch Norris is just an ordinary folk who has NO SUPERPOWERS whatsoever. Just an ordinary human being - like you and me.

But for some reason, Chuck has become an element of Popular Culture and a highly egotistic character [which is not true. Norris said so himself]. And because he is recognised as some superior being frolicsomely (especially amongst the boys. omg my msn list. I see jokes about him on people's nick) , i admire him even more. Why? Well, that's because me and him have something in common. Both of us "like" being ego but we both don't mean it
Big Smile. The only difference is that , others see him as some Almighty being but i, myself see myself as one. Big Smile  But remember i don't mean it. I just do it to advoid tensions between convos and add some humour Big Smile.

Anywho, let's explore some Chuck Norris's jokes, but keep in mind. Replace his name with mine in these jokes
Big Smile. ROFLMAOS. JOKES.

If you Google search "Chuck Norris getting his ass kicked" you will generate zero results. It just doesn't happen.

Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one bird

Chuck Norris has counted to infinity. Twice.

When the boogeyman goes to sleep, he checks his closet for Chuck Norris.

Some people wear Superman pajamas. Superman wears Chuck Norris pajamas.

When God said "Let there be light," Chuck Norris said, "Say please."

Chuck Norris once shot a plane down with his finger, by yelling, "Bang!"

If you want a list of Chuck Norris' enemies, just check the extinct species list.

On the 7th day, God rested.... Chuck Norris took over.

TThey decided to make a Chuck Norris toilet paper brand but there was one problem. it wouldn't take shit from anyone.

I predict that you will become a most aweome LEADER.

So before I begin with today's set of task which is an attempt of composing 1/3 of my 4u major, I would like to make a quick blog entry.

Nothing exciting has happened since the last time I updated except the fact that on Tuesday Night- I stayed at Jessica's house until 11 ish despite the few running back and forth to my place . Oh and Samina, Ana and Samson decided to make a stop to my place to visit me. Though, I could only spend ˝ an hr with them at the park because I had to rush home for dinner at 7:30. Yesterday I went to Annie's house at 330 expecting her and myself to attend English tutoring. But since, no-one could drive us there we decided not to go and attend Fridays lesson instead.  Stayed at her place till 11:30.

Anywho,Yesterday Jack has suddenly brought up this whole superstition topic and I found it pretty intriguing. Apparently, one of the superstitious ideas were  Collect seven or nine different flowers on midsummer eve and place them under your pillow and it is said that you will dream of your future spouse. (Sweden).  So Midsummer Eve would be on the 23rd of June ( better put it as a reminder in my shit phone)  and hopefully my spouse would appear ;) and if it works, Jack will never leave his hat on his bed anymore.

Hmm, along with that I Discovered that I make an extremely awesome leader. Firstly it is with my name:
Clara-
famous.
Other forms are Clare, Clarice, Clarissa.

Straightforward, proud, resourceful.

Her personality is a commanding one. Love affairs predisposed to be turbulent. .
Okay , maybe it doesn't straight forwardly, say "makes the most awesome
" but being commanding is one of the elements that makes a good leader :D.

starsign.

Long weekend.

So the holidays are on now and it’s time to "par-tay". Like that Simpson's episode where Homer invites those three geeks to his place since they got kicked out of College because Homer stole some other college’s mascot… that pig. So when the geeks are over at his place, Homer teaches them to "par-tay" and at the end of the episode the geeks were like “To Par-tay”. Like the geeks, I would try to “par-tay” instead of "party" because I am bombarded with a ship’s load of holiday homework and assignments.  Infact I need to type/write them down to guarantee myself that I will remember all of what I have to do during this short break. [ I miss my whiteboard notice board, had to take it down, because I needed ANOTHER shelf].

Clara’s Holiday Homework/Assignment

  • 2u ENG  "In the Wild" Essay
  • 2u ENG Speech
  • SAC 1/3 of the Pip
  • MH Booklet
  • 2U MATH 7 exercise
  • 4u 1/3 of Major
  • ITM Major

Then there are the weekly  tasks

  • Tutor Maths Homework
  •  Tutor English Homework

*SIGH*. That majorly sucks.

Oh well at least I had a heaps awesome start Big Smile. I know, I haven't been updating regularly and that's because last week were so full of shit; school work and ups and downs. Mhhm. So I thought, I might as well take some time out from this whole bullcrap starting from Friday Arvo.

Friday Arvo

Had some chit chat time with Annie until 11 pm  ish, which was really nice. Caught up with Shane. TVB movie and attempted to do LOG that night. Didn’t do much. might I add, I  went to Eng Tutor. Okay so it wasn’t THAT exciting.

Saturday Morning

From 1130AM, I met up with Ana and Samina so we can go to Picnic Point with Branko, Tommy, Samson and Adam. Took two cars there and started a good old fashion Barbie. Since the boys, were smoking hubbly-bubbly. We being awesome girls started the Barbie all by ourselves and we were quite proud with the end result. GG ladies! Soon afterwards, the boys had their own thing and we girls decided for some adventure hunting and strolled around the area. Saw a pelican and it looked like it was eating it’s own head cos it’s bill was so large. Haha :L . Left around 6 ish and we asked Branko to drop us at Orange Grove around 630 ish.

Saturday Night

Met up with Wei, Steven and Kevin and the girls started to talk about problems that we had. So it was some quiet chit chat time and boys being boys, they decided to pour Macas’ salt on our feet while we were talking.  We didn’t realize until they started to act suss by cracking up. Anywho, was about to go home but the girls convinced me to go cruising. Were suppose to go to Laparoo but somehow plans changed and we were off to Penrith to play Aqua golf.  Discovered that the best Hot Dogs were at the back of my house and got home at 1am. Saw Jessica and Kit outside the lawn and stayed there for awhile to chat even more and invited them in to eat instant noodles Big Smile. Haha, Jessica got tired and I had to go out the next day so everyone left by 3am.

Sunday

Struggled to get up at 10 30 am to get ready to go to City with Annie+Ben+Susan and Johnson. Drove to the City ate, shopped, bought a Sportsgirl’s Cardi, won a medium CJ7 (yay and now I want to collect the whole thing), took caps (been ages), fell sick cos of exhaustion and lack of sleep but got better, ate Jap and slept over at Annies with everyone else. Played Mah Jong and had a min nap of approx 40 mins. Stayed up until 5am.

Monday

Got up at 11 ish with the sound of Janna’s phonecall. Went to Cabra’s Ba Troung to have breakie and Ezyway. Went back to Annie’s house to play some Wii (totally kicked arse even though it was my first timer Big Smile ) and more mah jong. Went home at 4 ish so I could finish the rest of tutor hw due at 7 30.

Tuesday (present)

At Jessica’s house at the moment and watched 8 simple rules, the 70s show and both of us are just roaming around on the laptop.  Really should get some work done so if that’s the case, I am off.

Oh yeah laptop is back after 3 months. WOOT.

Where's the spotlight?

Suddenly I am in the state with writing in the dark with the dimmest candle being a light.  Weird isn't? Well even if it is weird, thank god I am NOT  the "genius" who thought of this unbelievable idea.   My asshole of a brother was being the most annoying brat that he already is. I am not sure what came into him, but he decided to turn off all the lights in my room and just shoved a candle in a cup and put it right next to my table. Thankfully, his eyes aren't mine yet, since I can touch type. But let's say if I didn't know how to touch type (and that was about a year ago), he would be seriously blind, cos his eyeballs would have been dug out by me and not that he can't be at the moment, in-fact his quite close with being heavily eye impaired (since he is hiding under the blankets playing that stupid Gameboy Advance SP with hardly any light around him besides the light on the game) .  Hmm, maybe he's trying to perform an exorcism or something? Or he is probably confused with Earth Hour being today? . Haha, stupid idiot. Oh the light went on and the candles are blown out after three puffs. I guess I can't audition for the Big Bad Wolf in the Three Little Pigs anytime soon xD

I was out eating dinner today with my rents and we got onto the topic with my HSC. Dad started lecturing me and Mum, it seemed like she was ignorant with the matter. Apparently, my Dad hopes that I can get 90+ for my UAI and he bribed me with getting my own VIDEO CAMERA. The bribe didn't tempted me since a camera is better and I already own one, which I don't like to use even if it's a Sony since the files are so freaking large >=[ and I was kinda disappointed with the offer that they presented because a few months ago they offered me "anything I want" or in other words $5000 ( I think, somewhere in the thousands though) . So let's say my congratulatory present has been devalued. (Totally sucks). At the moment, I'm having trouble with attaining an 80 at the moment and that's my goal. I think my realistic goal is about 76%+. To change the topic with the rents,  I just re-assured them that I am able to attain at least an 80 therefore  I need to encourage myself to get that 80. AIM HIGH !  ( DO NOT CRACK A SHORT JOKE HERE)

Strike is tomorrow and unfortunate I am going to go to school. L. Kinda have to because of my extension class.  If the class didn't run, I would be waking up at 10 30. Oh well,  at least the day isn't long (kinda ish) and there's Yum Chas with the Yum Cha + Ching tomorrow. Whoop de doo. Haven't been with YumChas to Yum Cha for about 2 years already. SHIT.  ( mentioning too much about Yum Chas) and talking about food I had 4 meals today, 3 proper. WOOT. But it excludes Breakfast. But hey, I think my obsessive eating days are over. I don't eat as much as I use to thus meaning that Annie would be chomping as much as her stomach can fit tomorrow ( and her stomach  depth is almost never ending) and half yearly reports are tomorrow. NOOOOO. Don't want to collect it.

Gabriella Cilmi - Sweet About Me

I feel like the most aggravated person when it comes to choosing a new layout for my blog.  It just steams me up and it puts me in a position where it really tests my patience. The end result? A FAIL and usually, I'm one girl who can be most ultimately patient. But browsing through, god knows how many blogskins and repetitively selecting the same blog skins authors, it feels like being stuck on the M5 where you are suppose to go 110 km per hour but  you end up waiting 10 minutes to move 10 metres. Now you ask me how does not moving in a motorway can compare to my selection with a blogskin?  Well, let's say that when you select a blog skin, it should only take like ˝ hr max and likewise with a motorway you should be zooming 100 km through a motorway not waiting.

For some reason, my instincts tell me that I HAD to post a new layout today, so I hopped onto blogskins and yup it took me well over 1 hour just to choose a "perfect" isn't "perfect" - it just satisfy me at the moment.  layout and the blog skin that I have currently,

Is it me or there isn't many pretty layouts lying around?  Sad. Yeah yeah, I know people are screaming at me saying " I don't see you doing any better, Clara". Well that's true that for NOW. Just because I don't have the time to graphic design/blog design. .. I haven't photoshopped in ages, but don't worry. I'll strike back soon. Very soon …. When the HSC ends that is.

Yay, for the end of DAYLIGHT SAVINGS and that's because I get one hour of extra sleep. But Yuck for Winter… for those who knows me I HATE WINTER, especially if my feet are cold when I sleep. I absolutely hate that.  Having to be home before dark doesn't really apply to me no more! I'm not afraid of walking home alone in the dark  HORRAY. I think LOL.

Well yesterday, I went to Wei's birthday BBQ  along with Samina, Ana, Samson, Milica. Met Julie (Nice girl, heaps pretty). Saw Anna and Vinh and then there were Stevens Friends.  Found it extremely weird when it ended up so early, I was expecting it to end after midnight. But I guess the birthday girls and those over 18 went clubbing without me cry. How Shit. Why can't I be 18 now ?! Though, had a great time speaking on the phone with Samina. Eventhough we saw each other like 10 minutes before. Haha :L.  Unfortunately, I found myself being tipsy last night. I KNOW AYE ?! WDFS?! CLARA TIPSY?! (what happened to the good girl ?, nws still and will be responsible :D  HENCE THE TITLE OF THIS ENTRY)  Had the slowest reaction, heart was racing, pink heated cheeks, stumbling backwards and spilling my drink. Omg. But it's okay. I knew what I was doing and saying. Just a little bit slow. Didn't take long to sober up so it was all good J. Unlike Wei, Seriously, it was what the fuck- she was goneskiies. Oh oh and I think Wei liked mine and Annie's present. Sexy lingerie with a whip whip thing where she can have animal one on one sessions with Steven LOL and hopefully my personal present which was a  princess wooden thing, where she can display it in her room after she finish renovating.

Pictures should be posted up soon when I rob them of Wei.

Practically, I spent my day with Jessica today. Watched The Freedom Writers. Heaps good movie, People should watch it then I  kinda helped her edited blog codes and she helped me with the tallying of my surveys (thanks for that Jess). Mkay, I'm off now.  I want to go to bed early for once Big Smile.

Assessments are OVER... for now

Modern and 3u Assessments are over but 2u English are not

But that's okay because Simon Gascoyne got shot

The real inspector Hound were impressive

But the credits were obsessive

I saw Joanne at Parra

And Wei received her birthday messages from Clara

So the weather is getting cold

And the blanket cannot hold

… I can't write poetry for shit.

So my attempt to write a poem that beats Wordsworth ones did not really succeed, Though, one thing for sure.. it doesn’t contain over 600+ lines, isn't boring and it kind of makes sense.

Anywho, if you guys kinda analyse the poem. It outlines my week.

Basically, I was not able to blog throughout the five days because I had to prepare for Modern and 3u. Apparently, Ms told me that I got 80% for my task in modern… I'm satisfied.. but at the same time , I'm not because the whole class did very well and my prepared version would of kicked ass.  >_>'. Though, having to be a victim from short-term memory loss, I was unable to lock my prepared version into my brain hence, not allowing myself to get at least 84%.

Then there’s 3u, which I completed today.  I seriously have no idea on how well I did. Written 12 pages, but considering that towards the end I had 5 words per line and I kinda used half a page (since I double spaced for conversations) for a page. I hoped I did okay though, because the weighting is absolutely horrible…. 20% for  3u and 15% for Modern. *gags*.

We're moving backwards. Went to the Riverside Theatre to watch The Real Inspector Hound. I was really looking forward to the play, since we read the play in class and I played the two-timer Simon Gascoyne and the infamous Inspector Hound. So when I saw the play, the characterization on the characters were unexpected. Simon Gascoyne was the most queerest bastard I ever seen ( it's funny thoug, because it was so exaggerated) and Inspector Hound? Dopey, clumsy and clueless. So unlike me :D . The credits were the best bit. Not because it was the end of the play, but how they set it out. Silhouette effect and it matches a beat. Damn I love the theatre, beats the movies. xD

Had two hours of free time so the group split and I went with Kha Gek to shop. Saw Joannee <33.

Btws Happy 17th Wei. FOR (1/4/08)
Looking forward to tomorrow’s party.. weeeee.. Stress reliever.

Gosh, is it me or is the weather getting chilli? Feels like winter in the morning and when it’s towards the afternoon, it like summer. Hmm, since it not winter nor summer I guess this is truly autumn and it sucks !

My blanket doesn’t do me any good either. Nowadays, i automatically get up because of the cool gush of wind even though my windows are closed, so I’m not sure how that happens. Weird aye? I guess I need to somehow get a new blanket (preferably a heated one? ) , stop wearing tees and maybe a heater shall come in handy also.

Anywho, I am off. If I can find the pic of my dad being the WORST OH&S follower, then I shall rant on it.

Organ Donate? And i do not make sense

So like today, i spent half of my Saturday with Susan and the other half with Wei+Steven+Amanda+Vernon+Thomas+Jenhole and also a paritial of my day with Bel.

Susan and I went to livo to get a present which took forever to decide on what to get her. Went to Spotlight then went back to Cab for Thai. Tried to call people up so they can eat Thai with me and Susan. Rung :  Janna up - she had a party to attend to, Bel- She wouldn't pick up her phone and Annie - Stupid braces were tightened , so since none of them ended up coming, it was only me and Susan  who feasted. Had Laos Paw paw salad, Sausage (first time I tried it , and it was yum) and marinated beef (yum sauce) with stick y rice and cabbages/lettuce.

We discussed random topics and one of them popped into my head and i asked most people what they thought of this question and what their answers were and now i want my beloved readers to answer it  too: " would you ever organ donate?" . My answer? Well truthfully and i am not putting up some "i-am-all-miss-good-do-the-right-thing-person" persona and it is concludes to a  no and yes answer. Seriously, i don't know. Part of me says no because i mean when you die, i wouldn't  want one of my organs to be ripped out of your body right? Sounds selfish? but as cliché as this would sound : the truth hurts. bad luck.  Anyway, but part of me says yes because what happens if i needed someone else's organ to survive? Then i wouldn't mind giving up a organ... but that's kinda bad because it means when you really need something then you'll do something about it instead of staying a straight off yes and just donating it out of your free will.  hmm strange. Though, I will donate blood at one point of my life.. Too bad not now, cause im way underweight to donate blood. They say you need to be at least 50 kg and im like 43? (from the last time I checked, which was about a yr ago). Oh by the way. A message to Bel. HAHA, I brought up the issue first and always had! NEH

So yeah, after Thai (freaking so full…….. though, 10 minutes later when we were walking home I was like to Susan " Susan, I feel so full on the right of my stomach but on the left.. it feels so empty" Susan: what the fuck?

So I arrived home around 330?  And then Wei came. Had some issues going on but were all solved in the end, while that was happening I went to Bel's place. Caught up with her and we also discussed the organ donating topic.  Then we met up with the others and ate at Canley Heights. Dropped me home cause they went Mounties and I were underage and I have my two assessments to study tonight, which I didn't end up doing and now I am tired and my finers, hands and arms is almost suffering from a second vr of  frost-bite because it is cold and numb and it feels like it has pins and needles and i am using the word AND ALOT in this LONG sentence which is obviosly gramtically incorrect.. or i might be suffereing from.. RSI.. repetitve strain injury. So I am off. Sorry if nothing made sense… it not that late. But as you can see I had a LONG DAY.

Two recent entries should keep readers entertained for the week.. Okay maybe no. But I'll do my best to update whenever I can for the next week.  Let's ace the exam Clara.

P.s. Did anyone do the Earth hour thing . ( i kinda forgot and missed it) also , is it the end of Daylight Savings tomorrow?

stephen chow
For those who know me since childhood and my early years of High school. They all should know that I had a obsessive disorder with the Hong Kong actor Stephen Chow and I blame my 30+ cousin for letting me fall for this dangerous passion. Ever since I was in year 3 or even 4? I loved that man (eventhough, he isnt the best looking man on earth and i don't "love" him because of his exterior him)  and his movies.  I'm quite sure that most of my readers have heard or even seen the almighty Stephen Chow starred, directed, wrote and produced in films such as Shoaling Soccer and Kung Fu Hustle correct?  Mhhm yeah, the humorous and "strange" comedian. Well that's him.

But as I entered the late years of high schooling, my love for Stephen Chow and his movies began to deteriorate. I remember back in years 3-9 school holidays, I would sit down to watch his movies in either VCD, DVD or Video taped form and those were usually one of the best times of my childhood and early adolescence life. Being away for at least two hours, absorbing his movies were recreational, fun and anti-stressful (not that I knew what the word stress meant back in those years).  I was truly knocked out from the real world since laughter would bounce out of my mouth and I must admit, my abilty to swear in Cantonese did improve
Big Smile.

Well anywho, it has only been recently that I found out that Stephen Chow made a new movie and I was kind of ashamed of myself because I did not know he made a new movie. I retrospect back into the days when Kung Fu Hustle was about to be released in the cinemas and I've already seen it from pirated copies. That was how quick I would get ahold of his films But, In contrast to now? If Annie did not tell me that he made a new movie, I don't think I'll be able to see it until it reached the stores in DVD form.  Lol, yes I should really see his movies at readings cinemas… so I can support him...  One day. LOL

Nevertheless, I saw his new movie "CJ7" at home when dad somehow got his hands on it. CJ7  was a new approach. More serious and similar to the pursuit of happiness, though there were still his "mo lei tau" comedic style and shamely enough, it is the FIRST movie from him and any other movie that I went really emotional. LOL how sad is that. My eyes went all watery and it started to sting and my dad was coming downstairs to go to work and I was so embrassed when I THOUGHT he saw me. Let's hope he didn't. Anywho, if any of you decided to watch the movie at Readings Cimena, gimme a buzz.. and I MIGHT come along too ( hey, I saw Transformers TWICE at the cinemas).

Anywho here's a little preview of what the movie is about :
Stephen Chow is a single father with a boy, and he works hard as a construction worker to support him through private school. The boy, however, constantly bullied in school by the wealthy kids, is not an exceptional student. He tries to follow the values imparted by his father- that though they are poor, they do not lie, steal, or crave what isn't theirs. He saves an enormous overweight girl from bullying one day, and earns her admiration and adoration, to his future usage. In the meantime, father and son pass time by entertaining themselves killing roaches in their improvished apartment. Mr. Chow, the father, can barely afford food on the table, let alone luxuries like shoes or electric fans, but one day his son (called Dicky in English) begged and cried for a CJ1, a toy that all his schoolmates have. Not being able to afford one, Mr. Chow goes to the dumpster to try to find something. He comes home with a rubbery ball and one day, the ball turned into a fuzzy cute dog-like space alien, which befriends Dicky. It seems that the alien dog, named CJ7, has powers of regeneration, such as being able to turn a rotten apple into a fresh one. Dicky takes his pet to school, and fantasizes that with its magical powers, he can score 100 on his exams, beat up bullies, and wow his gym teachers. But matters did not turn out to his expectation as the alien dog doesn't seem to be able to do much. One day, Mr. Chow suffers from a construction site accident and dies. Dicky grieved painfully and was comforted by his pretty teacher who has tried to help him many times with his schooling. He prays that his father comes back. In an expected twist of plot,  [ highlight after this notice if you want the spoiler] the alien dog regenerates Mr. Chow's body, bringing him back from death. Dicky was beside himself with joy, but the alien dog then dies and leaves. In the end, the kids stopped bullying him as much though he his life remains very much the same, but one day, a space ship lands...

Oh and for those who are curious. Genre is : comedy and Sci-Fi ( only a little.. thankfully). Also, before i forget, if any of yous do see the movie. The little boy who is one of the protagonist is actually a GIRL.

(will prove soon. Soon?  it's not cos i made the rumour up that he is a girl. But it's cos i am quite lazy at the moment to upload images onto photobucket)
